This makes me so happy. We have hordes of them every spring and I be been tempted to defend them in my essay series “In Defense of” but I can’t find anything to defense! Sorry little guys.:)
It was a heart-lift, for sure. In fact, I’ve been wondering how we might be able to preserve our little community after the course concludes. It has been a healing experience in many ways, at least for me.
That was fun, thanks. Believe it or not, the stinkbugs in Colorado smell like a combo of strawberries and bananas, amazing the first time I got one stuck in between my work belt and my waist.
I really like this writing prompt! It's such an intriguing way to consider even the most annoying life forms. If I gave myself some flexibility in the wording (i.e. I despise/I understand) I think I could write about almost anything. Thank you for sharing this, MK.
Haha! My husband is aligned with you. I'm sending this to him.
Ignoring the label--the audacity! 😂 A wonderful Carolina poem!
Love it!!!

So great. And lovely that you linked Ann’s information. Wasn’t she a delight on a night we were all so blue?💙🌎

And thank you for sharing your insights. I totally agree.
Ha, the stinkbug appears to be licking the Bug B Gone!
